The Coalescent Pin
An abstraction of the Sankofa, the circular motif references the 3 points of the triangular slave trade from which the diaspora was created. The Triangle Slave Trade, relates to the mathematical symbol “delta” which denotes a changing or dynamic figure. The rearward facing guardian protects the seeds of knowledge from the past for the use of future generations.
